Hi class,
Your homework is to work on your project due on 11/2/2006 (next Thursday):
You are to take a piece of paper of any size (even poster paper). You will measure the size of room, the furniture in your room, and the distance between your walls and your "stuff". Write your measurements down on one side. On the other side you will draw a scaled down map of your room (or livingroom). Show the size and placement of all the furniture (using your measurements). Somewhere on your map write your name and a legend in which you will tell me your scale. All measurements are to be done in inches.
You will be graded on accuracy and attractiveness. For accuracy, I must be able to measure your drawing, and using your scale, calculate the size of your room and stuff, and it must match your measured dimensions.
